One of the biggest universities in the nation as well as one of the proudest, Ohio State has more than 58,000 students on its Columbus campus, nearly 45,000 of them undergraduates. Students can be found hanging out at the Oval or the Student Union on OSU’s huge, friendly campus, in vibrant downtown Columbus, or in one of the other nearby Ohio cities. Even though (thanks to much work on the administration’s part) OSU is not the party school/cakewalk it reportedly used to be, the social scene remains a big draw. Greek life is prevalent but not deafening; it’s easy enough to find alternate house parties or, for the over-21 crowd, bars and clubs. Most students are reportedly happy with the experience—Buckeyes are known for their school spirit. It helps that OSU might be the best school for sports in the country. Football (and hating arch-rival Michigan) unites the campus, and no one manages to graduate without memorizing the cheers. Ohio State’s graduation rate of 84%, as calculated by MONEY, is 8% higher than would be expected for students with similar test scores and economic backgrounds.

See What Students Have to Say
Would definitely do it all over again. School is super organized, has something to offer everyone and I feel like the school has a great reputation which will give me an edge when job hunting begins.
I cannot imagine myself being anywhere else. From the people to the professors to the atmosphere, Ohio State was the right choice for me. It presents so much opportunity and although it is so large, makes each person feel like an individual. I would recommend Ohio State to anyone who is looking for an enthusiastic and united campus.
I love it here. When I applied I barely considered it, but after visiting I immediately fell in love. Everyone here lives and breathes Ohio State and for obvious reasons. I never once have regretted my decision and I honestly don't think I could have ended up at a better school! Go Bucks!
